On the 15th of December, while the fierce wind was blowing outside, DDP students were extremely excited in the Atrium next to the DDP classroom for the car championship. Spent the whole month designing, improving, and decorating, and finally DDP students could show their product to everyone with great pride. Building such a car is not an easy mission at all. Students were asked to collaborate to construct their cars with numerous complicated components, including motors, Arduino Nano, L289N Bridge, etc. Even though detailed instruction is provided for students, they still have to put great effort into the program. The deadline may chase them like a tiger, and components may go on strike from time to time, but all DDP students will never be afraid of such troubles they face. Eventually, all students successfully completed the mission to construct their small toy cars through collaboration.
Another great achievement of students is the building of two tracks, which are a racing track and an obstacle track. Each track consists of five parts and each team is assigned to build one. With cardboard and foam board, which is considered trash in common people’s opinion, ingenious students used some basic tools to build two exquisite tracks for cars to compete in. The tracks not only are fantastic in appearance but also are designed to be stable to avoid cars rushing out.

Finally, after one month's effort, DDP students have the opportunity to show off their achievements and compete in their ability to drive cars. On the day of the championship, representatives from each team took part in the fierce competition with their peers. In the championship, Toretto's team won the competition in the racing track, and Lucas Tu’s team won the competition in the obstacle track. Those two teams got some snacks as a reward. Congratulations to those teams!
